The script is configured to have voting begin July 1 and continue through every day in July.  Everything will be fully automatic, except that the competitors and seeds must be determined and manually entered before then.  There's still work to be done on getting a consensus.
I am on a road trip for the whole of July.  It's also my birthday at the start of August, so WINNING would be a nice coming home/birthday present from you guys.   That and you don't want RPG to win things, I mean srsly.

There isn't a great deal of time until this is due to start, so I'd suggest trying to achieve consensus on the list. This is the latest edition of it and there hasn't been a lot of discussion since.

I'd say the upper half of both brackets is pretty much settled, however the lower half requires a bit of thought.

As for division names I am thinking something related to the current fad (Pokemon or Starcraft depending who you ask). Diamond/Pearl? Magma/Aqua? <somebody better versed in Starcraft than I suggest a couple for that>?

I don't think there's anything that could really be used from Starcraft. There are three main races (Terran, Protoss, Zerg), and none of them really have any dichotomies within them (except maybe Confederacy and United Earth Directorate for the Terrans).

Well I suppose you could just have Protoss and Zerg or something if you want to ignore one race.

GDI and Nod, surely.  Specially if I get to be Kane - you can't kill the Messiah!

Separating by fads is a neat idea, though I doubt it will divvy up evenly. I suggest something like Competitors/Idlers/Inactive/Outcasts, though the last two categories wouldn't be filled. Maybe just Competitors/Idlers...though there seem to be comparatively few idlers on the list. Perhaps user levels would suffice, or maybe region would be best for simplicity.

The list of participants also looks solid. As such, I shall glance at this topic from time to time out of curiosity starting July 5.

I HOPE YOU DO

Well I just had an idea that maybe we could sort things out with regards to the origination of each fad. However Pokemon is Japanese, Starcraft may as well be Korean, and Toulouse is in France. So, bugger.

I would be inclined to make it the Pokemon and Toulouse divisions. But hey SM is calling the shots.

You can't really call Pokemon and Starcraft fads since they're still popular even to this day. A fad would be something like "All your base", Leeroy Jenkins, or Chuck Norris jokes.
Ever know what its like to get pwned by a book? Sonic certainly does.

There's not much time left to finalize the divisions.  My votes go for "Evil Fascists" (US) and "Evil Terrorists" (non-US).

I'd put Paragod in over blueblaze for the 16 seed in Evil Fascists.  Shadow Wedge seems like the only potential name worth replacing in Evil Terrorists, and the seeds of positions 14-16 can be shuffled up if it even matters.  Does anyone come to mind so that I can start filling in the database?
